Weight  Loss Method

Although we need to be careful with what will best suit you to lose the weight our most frequently used method entails the following:

-         your body is encouraged to burn fat

-         in order to lose weight your body needs to burn its own excess fat for energy.

-         This is done by allowing your body to switch from using external sources of food for energy to using its own stored fat.

-         It is successfully done by having you prepare breakfast, lunch and dinner from a selected nutritious range of ingredients

-         The ingredients used are suggested in a balanced way because it is imperative that your body stays healthy throughout the weightloss process.

-         You eat regularly, having breakfast, lunch and dinner and a special amino acid and vitamin supplement in between. Again, we are concentrating on your body staying optimally healthy by having a balanced amount of protein, carbohydrates and fats. This special supplement comes in a sachet which is easily mixed with water and tastes great. There are choices of flavours and they include both sweet and savoury choices (in the form of hot soups). The great thing about them is that they are easy to prepare and carry.

-         A small amount of exercise is suggested

-         Another good thing is that you can gauge your progress by doing a special test every day, using ketostix. You see, when you burn fat you can actually see the products of fat burning in the urine, in the form of ketones. This needs to be a small amount to ensure that your body is burning fat in its optimal health range.    ( In this case the bigger the reading does not mean it is better ).

-         Everything you need to do is documented in a manual and this is backed up by one on one consultations with our experienced naturopaths.

-         Our manual also has great café style meals and this means that you should never feel deprived when you have to dine out… You will be shown how to handle these social occasions too.

-         We like you to visit us once a week in order to gauge your progress and to keep you right on track. This way we can also rectify problems quickly, in the unlikely event of them occurring.

-         Our seven years of experience time and time again substantiates that it is best to follow the program for at least 5 to 10 weeks. This gets you into great eating habits which you can maintain for life.
